The Experience

Day 1 – 3: The Grandeur of Istanbul

The Setting: Based at the Nippon Hotel, the family began their journey in the heart of the ancient city. The curriculum focused on the layered history of the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, and the Hagia Sophia.The Highlights: A private drive along the ancient city walls, a deep dive into the Topkapi Palace Harem, and a Bosphorus Boat Tour to witness the unique meeting point of Europe and Asia. The experience concluded with the vibrant colors and scents of the Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Spice Market.

Day 4 – 6: The Lunar Landscapes of Cappadocia

The Journey: A short morning flight brought the family to the volcanic landscapes of Central Anatolia. Staying at the Burcu Kaya Hotel, they explored the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO site of rock-cut churches and frescoes.The Atmosphere: Days were spent discovering Devrent Valley’s unique rock formations, the Kaymakli Underground City, and the traditional art of pottery making in local workshops, providing a tactile connection to the region’s history.

Day 7 – 9: Classical Splendor in Ephesus

The Transition: The family flew from Cappadocia to the Aegean coast. In Kuşadası, the focus shifted to classical antiquity with a stay at the Elite World Hotel.The Finale: A dedicated, full-day Private Ephesus Tour allowed the family to walk the marble streets of one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. After exploring local traditions like Turkish hand-woven rug making, the journey concluded with a private transfer to Izmir Airport for their return flight.
