This journey was structured as a deep dive into the evolution of urban design, balancing iconic historic monuments with cutting-edge contemporary masterpieces.

  • Day 1–5: The Parisian Blueprint: Exploring Gothic heritage at Notre-Dame and the grandeur of Versailles.
  • Day 6–8: Berlin’s Transformation: A focus on WWII history, Cold War urbanism, and the high-speed ICE train transit to Munich.
  • Day 9–10: Modernist Munich: Technical visits to BMW Welt and the Pinakothek der Moderne.
  • Day 11–13: Milanese Innovation: A grand tour of the Duomo and the intersection of fashion and industrial design.

The Experience

Day 1 – 5: The Foundations of Paris

The Setting: The group landed at CDG Airport and transferred to premium 4-star accommodation. The curriculum focused on the evolution of the Seine riverfront and the scale of royal architecture.The Highlights: Expert-led experiences in the Notre-Dame district, a comprehensive study of the Louvre’s structural history, and a technical tour of the Versailles Palace and the Eiffel Tower precinct.

Day 6 – 10: German Engineering & Urban Renewal

The Journey: After flying from Paris to Berlin, the group analyzed the scars and rebirth of the city through a WWII & Cold War Walking Tour.The Innovation: The transit continued via the high-speed ICE train to Munich. Here, the focus shifted to industrial design and modernism with visits to the futuristic BMW Welt and the Pinakothek der Moderne, followed by the Baroque splendor of Nymphenburg Palace.

Day 11 – 15: Italian Heritage & Modernity

The Atmosphere: A flight to Milan brought the group into the heart of Italian style. We coordinated a Grand Tour featuring the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, showcasing the height of 19th-century glass and iron architecture.The Finale: The study concluded in Rome, reachable via a seamless high-speed train connection. Participants explored the foundational engineering of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Pantheon.
